Position Title: Fleet Safety Analyst

Department: Operations

Direct Reports: Fleet Manager

Reports To: Director of Operations

Status: Full-time; non-exempt

Pay: Biweekly

Job Description:

The Fleet Safety Analyst is responsible for assisting with tracking and communication of various fleet related data and the improvement of fleet safety performance through effective enforcement initiatives. Other roles/responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining the integrity and completeness of data collected for additional analyses and intervention
  • Communication and corrective action for all fleet violations
  • Ensuring the comprehensiveness of data, investigating & correcting gaps in data as they arise
  • Assisting the Bridge and Fleet Managers in the implementation and optimization of new strategies for fleet safety interventions

Required knowledge, skills, and abilities include:

  • Strong analytical, numerical, and reasoning abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Results oriented with the ability to balance other business considerations
  • Foster teamwork and collaboration within and between department(s)

Education, Experience, and Qualifications:

Education, Experience, and Qualifications required include:

  • High School Graduate or GED
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and industry experience preferred
  • 2+ years experience working with data management or maintenance preferred

Physical Requirements:

The physical requirements of this job include:

  • Ability to perform numerous duties while sitting, standing, and walking
  • Must have a full range of body movements including use of legs, arms and hands.
  • Full use of hearing and sight (corrected) in order to perform skills and duties as required.

Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned at the discretion of the Director of Operations, Fleet Manager or the Bridge Deputy Director as deemed appropriate.
